Shannon Platz is Global Vice President for SAP’s Platform Ecosystem focused on analytics, database and data management, and cloud platform. In this role, she is responsible for assessing product and commercial viability for the ecosystem, setting channel GTM strategy, and ensuring partner success. Shannon manages a global organization dedicated to customer, partner, and employee success working across organizations as One SAP.  Shannon is a transformational leader who empowers each partners’ vision for their customers, and to deliver go-to-market excellence to our partners.

She is a recognized authority in business analytics, database technology, enterprise management and customer relationship management.  Shannon is privileged to lead high-performing organizations to deliver innovations that transform leading Fortune 500 corporations and small enterprises alike.
She is passionate about customer, partner, and employee success – believing in and supporting the development of others to reach their full potential.  She is a mentor, leadership coach, and diversity champion inside and outside of SAP.  A published author and international speaker on analytics to drive competitive differentiation, she serves on several boards/committees focused on the advancement of women.

Prior to joining SAP, Shannon held executive and technical leadership roles with Oracle, Business Objects, private-equity start-ups, and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. As a software engineer and data architect, Shannon is proud to be a woman in technology and is dedicated to increasing opportunities and empowering women in technology.
